So, paladins and locks have a special place among the denizens of Azeroth - questable mounts. Now, it should be noted that much a do has been made about the epic riding mount being free for a lock. Clearly, not all have actually quested theirs. While it is cheaper, it surely is not free. So, all us locks, with our cool flaming horses get to outland for the first time, we ding 70 and are ready to learn our epic flying summon.
"Excuse me, Mr. scary gnome who hangs out in this house in a cavern in Ironforge, could you teach me how to summon something that flies?"
"Doesn't your succubus have wings?"
"Yeah, but I think even given her garb, she's not a mount."
"Oh... hey, wait, you even have the S3 helm.. That has wings, surely you can fly into the night sky on wings of pure evil, powered by the bones of your enemies or something like that, can't you?"
"Hmmm, I don't actually think I can... Now in all fairness, I haven't tried jumping off something high when the wings deploy, so for all I know, they could actually work!"
"Oh... good. Go try that."

So I know that this is a long debated and worn out issue, but I still, obviously as a warlock would love to see some kind of summonable flying mount. I do support the dr00ds getting a flying form... that totally makes sense. I'm not sure I really like the idea that they get it at 68, but I've come to peace with that too as payment for not getting to see their armor in any representable way on their toons when they shapeshift. That's lame.
Is the reason that we don't have a flying demon because there aren't any in the game? That doesn't seem right... I feel like I've seen plenty of things that look like they have wings and are definitely demonic. Surely there must be something to be done. At the very least, the S3 helm should allow us to slow fall if we time it right. Clearly that makes sense at least. I mean... think of all the work our necks are doing on our behalf just keeping that thing up. Give it a reason!
